Composition I                     .5 credit

Composition I  provides students the opportunity to practice and hone writing skills. Students will participate in a variety of writing assignments including show vs. tell, description, narration, definition/negation, classification, metaphor, and problem/solution. In addition to writing essays, students will strengthen their knowledge of mechanics, usage and grammar through mini lessons and writing practice.
